The Silk Road(1)-Departure

We were going to get together to go to Shanghai. So on August 12, 2002, I left for Kobe, where a ship waited for us to go to China.
I took part in the tour for college students only, sponsored by "Honryu China". I paid probably $2200 for three weeks, so it was a cheap tour. This was the first time I went on a trip since I started college, and I was really looking forward to it. But two months prior the departure day, I started loosing interest and I eventually hesitated going. The day before departure, I thought about aborting, and decided to "oversleeping" through my allram clock. But at the last minute I changed my mind and anyway. So I went to buy a suitcase.
After I arrived at Itami Airport, I called my friend "Some"(who also took part in this tour) and we met at Osaka station. We then went to Sannomiya and strolled and talked while eating okonomiyaki.
On August 13 I was at the port in time but I couldn't find the group. I was very confused, so I decided to which I knew was with the group. I then realized that I got the wrong floor. I went to the right place and I noticed that there were many people which I thought. It sucked. I anticipated about thirty members maximum but there were 64 people waiting. I was already sick of so many people.
All of us were divided into six groups, and I was in the first one named "Uighur." The tour leader was the captain of our group.
We passed the dreary departure examination and got on Shin-Ganjin-Gou.
